How to make pottery by making a clay cavity:

A bowl is brought by the person who makes the pottery, and about 30% of the amount of clay is added to it. Water is mixed with clay and water and the addition of water occurs to avoid any cracks in the clay.

A part is placed through which the excess water comes out to ensure that the clay does not flow and does not stick together and continue to stir so that the clay becomes very cohesive, and then it is placed on the cylinder that gives it the shape.

The work of shaping the shape of the pottery begins by moving it in the opposite direction of the movement of the cylinder and making the hollows until the manufacturer reaches the shape he wants.

Casting in gypsum moulds:

The manufacturer then puts the clay shapes that were formed by molds made of gypsum material. The goal of this step is to increase the strength of the clay by drying it completely and eliminating the remaining water in the clay.

It is possible to choose gypsum molds that contain a variety of drawings and engravings, as once clay is poured into them, they will take the shape of the mold.

Pottery coloring:

It is known that clay has a brown color only, and therefore to add more beauty to the pottery, it is colored after taking it out of the mold. There are many ways to color either through the use of colors or spraying the colors with a sprayer.
